A method to limit FPS

I started using Darkxl for Dark Forces, and noticed that when walking, I moved REALLY slow. and hitting the print screen key was a temporary fix for a second or 2, but would begin to move slowly again. I've been looking around online and found this post:


After reading this, I thought to myself instead of forcing vertical sync and having to worry about input lag, why not a method of limiting fps through console command, or even on start up so it could fix the movement issue + still have a decent fps to look around without that minor input lag.
It may not be able to be done but if there is a way to implement this, please let me know or get back to me. Thank you guys and great job on this engine :mrgreen:

1) Make sure you force disabled VSync in every game. XLEngine uses VSync and don't has an option to disable.
