I know a few of the diehard Outlaws fans still running Windows 98. Will DarkXL run on 98 or is it XP+ only? Those on 9x don't really have a reason to switch to DarkXL except to be able to play multiplayer with those running DXL or make use of the better modding tools.

Since the engine will be moving to OpenGL, support for Win98 is possible. However I won't make any promises right now.

Also the engine will be getting Linux support, which means that all games (including DaggerXL, DarkXL) will also get Linux support.

Well if you need testers for Linux let me know. I've got Dark Forces and Outlaws game data.

I run Arch Linux using the latest nvidia drivers.
