Currently trying to upload an avatar but finding the filesize restriction way too conservative at 6Kib. At 150x150 pixels the smallest filesize on maximum jpeg compression is about 24Kib. At 80x80 the smallest is about 8Kib. And with that much compression it's just an ugly mess of artifacts. Tried converting it to a 256 color gif but it is still about 8Kib. And using the hosting function in order to link to an imageshack file just results in an error.

It'd be great if the restictions could be lifted to the old DaggerXL forums "Maximum dimensions; width: 150 pixels, height: 150 pixels, file size: 35.00 KiB."

EDIT: Using a 256 color PNG file at 100x100 seems to work but looks less than satisfying.

:)

I changed the maximum size from the defaults but apparently forget to update the file size. I'll do that right now. :)
