Interesting. Gonna take a look at this later this week.

Maybe I could do additional 'Old school Packs'.
One for SC-55 and one for Pro etc, if anyone's interested. Doesn't take that long now when I've got everything set up for easy batch recordings.

Then you could take the one that suits your taste the best.

Doing a Pro pack would be tricky, since the game and setup program have their own programmed equivalents of GM instruments. Come to think of it, if the instruments used in the game don't match whatever the setup program uses it would be even more difficult.

Hey guys, I was wondering which music on the download page is newest. I've already listened to a lot of the stuff that came out when you guys first started doing this, so I was hoping to listen to some of your latest releases.

By the way, do you guys have any favorites?

You could just download the pack and sort the files by date.

Or I could add a sort by date on the page if you really want me to. Have an already done script for that and I could basically just copy, paste.

Just managed to aquire a handy plugin for Cubase called G-Player. It's basically a kontakt like player that lets you natively load GIGA files without the hassles of down conversion and loss of articulations/region mapping. Now I can use the 200 GB VSL Pro and Performance that I've had sitting on my HDD gathering dust. Good times :)

Cool. Can you use expressionmaps with that?

You sure can. I tried some VSL SE expression maps, because the old Pro Cube that I picked up at a garage sale didn't come with any. Unfortunately SE only has a third or so of the articulations available in Pro. I'll have to look harder to find some appropriate expression maps :)

Nice. VSL forums is probably the best place to find expressionmaps I think, but I guess you've already looked there. If you're having trouble finding appropriate ones, you can create your own, though it's a bit of a hassle - and you probably knew that as well... :)

I'll add it the first post.

And I don't see anything obvious missing or not working. Though, I have to do something about the design of it at some point. It's not that good looking... :) Also, if you want the backend, give me a shout.
