@jute I do not know what happened to Theseus3000's work and I do not have a Youtube-account so I can not ask him. Google did not give me anything but those videos.

I am done organizing the photos, they are put into different themes, some more roughly organized than others as I had a hard time deciding where it all should go.
There is a folder with sample textures and earlier unfinished textures as well, now totaling almost 65MB of JPGs, BMPs and PNGs...

Had I taken these photos and made these textures today, it all would have been PNGs I think, I swear some of the JPGs have degraded since I first put them on this computer. :?

EDIT: Be it known that I had some trouble making my ftp-server working properly. Therefore the data was uploaded to jet800's ftp-server instead, which works excellent. :)

well Theseus didn't transfered with us to new forum, so we don't have contact with him either. But lucius could have his email left from Theseus old account on wp(if Theseus even had one). Old forums are gone now, so I don't know where to look more.

Been lurking/inactive a while, but I have worked on the NPC flats in the past:

(File link in my signature).

Were I to start working on these again, I'd probably draw fresh interpretations from scratch. Upscaling 'accurately' just takes way too long.

Those look great. I hope you consider working on them again.

Okay, ppl, you could get C.H.'s textures from:
http://jet800.mine.nu/dxl_textures/Dagg ... 2011-201x/
or
ftp://jet800.mine.nu/DaggerXL%20ftp-upload2011-201x/

P.S.: If anyone interested in uploading textures - PM me I'll create ftp account for you.
P.P.S.: please note, although uptime of my server is usually near 99.9% it could be down while I'm upgrading software, have power failures or my provider experiences issues. Be patient in this case. In case of any troubles - PM me. Or add me in jabber - Image.

You are welcome, feel free to hack and slash those images as you see fit.
I am happy to see the images used for this project. Many of the pictures are taken of Norwegian nature though, perhaps those have limited use in the lands of Daggerfall. I do not know. :|

(edit: fixed faulty centence construction. :? )

So, is there any sort of procedure/claim system to the texture project? I.E. is it just something that anyone can hop onto? Also, is there a tutorial somewhere for getting the textures workable in-game?

I'm interested in making high-res replacers for the various statues in-game, seeing as how character art is what I enjoy doing most, but more talented people than I are already handling the actual NPC sprites/portraits :P

Here's a preview/comparison of one of my completed textures, compared to the original file. Feedback is very welcome :)

EDIT: Uploaded a new picture that I cleaned up a little more.

That looks great, good work! What's the resolution on the new one?

Thanks :)

The widths vary from sprite to sprite, but on that particular one it's 268x512.

Here's another example I finished up this morning.
