Hmm, that looks decent. It just has too few polygons.
I decided to model 3 torch sprites I found and uh... I found out I'm not good at modeling torches.

Compared to sprites they're awesome :P I don't really know how I feel about that base on the two on the left though..

I think what it's missing is the pixels big and sharp enough to chop wood with.

UV finished in just about 30mins. I'm seeking comments and criticism before I export this to collada and finalize the technical issues to make this (eventually) game-ready.

Note: The back model is the original DF model exported with Daggerfall Modelling.

Since it has the Daggerfall textures I'm sure most of you will think it's not a big improvement since it's hard to see 3d models with pixel textures and no shading. But I used the original textures to make this compatible with the texture replacement project so hopefully when someone loads the game up using this model and the texture replacement project it'll look much nicer

Yeah, w/o hi-res textures it's looking almost same. But some changes(мукн minor, but still) are noticeable :)

A bit more 3d this time:

It's one of those huge white marble columns you can find in the starter dungeon for example.

Also finished setting materials and slightly altered the cupboard. Will upload these in collada once I've finished a couple of models.

Nice work :) I love watching 3D models come together, it's just so... fulfilling

What do you use to model? Blender?

Someone re-texture me!

Made the ridges deeper

Arctus: Yep, blender :) and Interkarma's tool for the original models.

I'm currently working on a wooden fence. My plan today is to do a first pass of 3 models then fix them according to criticism and suggestions from forums. Tomorrow I'll finalize and upload then start working on other models.
